Without pallet, for 20'GP, around 576 vessel sinks can be loaded; for 40'HQ, around 1325 vessel sinks can be loaded. With pallet, the quantity will be smaller.
Q: What's the lead time for an order?
Around 4-8 weeks for one container.
Q: Is the drain included with my purchase?
Drains are not included, however they can be additionally ordered. We have a large selection of drain styles and finishes to accompany your new sink.
Q: Do you offer special orders or customized sizes?
For stone sinks, absolutely! The beauty of an artisan-crafted stone is that we can offer special ordering on a made-to-order basis.
Q: How to install a vessel sink?
Attach a hole-saw into your hand drill that measures slightly larger than the diameter of the drainpipe supplied with your vessel sink. In most cases, a 2 1/2-inch hole-saw works nicely. Drill a hole through the countertop where you plan to install the vessel sink.
Place the collar over the hole. The collar is the base plate provided with the vessel sink. The vessel rests on the collar and keeps it from moving.
Place the vessel on top of the collar and then place the threaded drainpipe complete with the drain basket through the hole in the bottom of the collar. The drain basket has a rubber gasket on it to prevent the need for plumber's putty.
Place a level across the top of the vessel and then position the vessel so it rests level on the collar.
Thread the retaining nut onto the threads of the drainpipe and then tighten the nut with pliers. As you tighten the nut, it secures the vessel against the collar and seals the sink basket.
Loosen the compression nut on the S-trap and then raise the S-trap onto the drainpipe. Tighten the compression nut to secure the S-trap to the sink's drainpipe.
Q: How to clean a stone sink?
To clean your sink, use a soft cloth, sponge or soapy nylon brush. Be sure to rinse the sink well after cleaning and dry. Cleaning on a regular basis will help prevent the development of hard water deposits. If you develop persistent stains, try a non-abrasive cleaner such as dishwasher soap, Soft Scrub or a professional stone cleaner solution which can be purchased from a local hardware or tile store. DO NOT use any acidic tub and tile cleaners, toilet bowl cleaners, ammonia, abrasive or soft paste cleaners, vinegar, alcohol, window cleaners or lemon juice. In addition DO NOT use abrasive cleaning pads such as steel wool, metal brushes or scouring powders.
Q: What are the Do's and Dont's in caring for my Glass Sink?
Glass sinks are a lot more durable than you might think, but certain precautions must be taken. If a glass sink is chipped, cracked or broken, it cannot be repaired or "fixed like new." It must be replaced.
To minimize the risk of damage, avoid placing a shelf or medicine cabinet above a glass sink.
Do not install or store a glass sink where indoor temperatures are unregulated (such as during new construction). Wide variances in temperatures may cause breakage as a result of thermal shock.
Do not allow temperature changes of greater than 70 degrees F between temperature of glass sink and water. All glass sinks are susceptible to thermal shock. To prevent cracking, set your water heater to a temperature between 120 and 130 degrees F.
Do not allow the glass vessel sink to come in contact with steel or other glass objects which could scratch or chip the surface.
Do not pour boiling water directly into the glass vessel sink. Doing so may cause the sink to crack or shatter.
Do not allow extremely hot water to flow into the glass vessel sink. If it is too hot to the touch it could crack the glass.
Do wipe the glass bathroom sink dry, inside and out, after every use to prevent water spots. If you get water spots, use a mixture of vinegar and water to remove them. Never use anything abrasive on your glass sink.
